Naren Patel joined the media industry in 1991. Under his leadership at Primesight he floated the outdoor advertising business on the London Stock Exchange in 1997, and in 1999 sold Primesight to SMG plc (now STV plc). In 2007, Naren led an MBO of Primesight, and over the next 10 years grew the business through acquisitions and organic development made Primesight one the leading and most successful brands in the media industry.
In September 2018, Primesight was acquired by Global Radio and Naren stepped down as CEO of Primesight in July 2019. He worked as a Consultant for Global assisting with the integration of the Outdoor businesses until the end of April 2020. Naren is passionate about location based advertising and started developing the GeoProve platform during 2020 to help address some of the issues that the mobile advertising sector was facing.
Naren is passionate about improving ethnic diversity in the Media sector and founded Media for all (www.mediaforall.org.uk)
Naren is also a trustee for NABS (The Charity for the Advertising industry) and sits on the Finance and Investments Boards. He is an Advisor to Creative Access, a mentor for the Brixton Finishing School. He has been the Chairman for Outsmart, the OOH industry trade body and was a Board member of Route.
Matt Teeman has over 30 years experience in the media industry spanning print, digital and OOH. During his 17 years at the BBC he oversaw their magazine’s transformation to digital, including his role as Commercial Director of beeb.com. Further senior multi-platform roles at Metro and Bloomberg preceded his role as MD at Primesight in 2016 where he was responsible for their transition from a static to digital player. In 2018 Matt was a member of the senior management team that successfully sold the business to Global Radio, and since July 19 when he left, he’s been consulting in the mobile sector. Matt also owns and runs a mobile pizza truck business in his spare time
